CROQUET
Port Bouvard Croquet Club have changed their game to Golf Croquet, a popular, social, and easy-to-learn variation of croquet where players hit four coloured balls through six hoops in a strict sequence, scoring a point for each hoop run without earning extra bonus strokes.
Croquet is a game that can be enjoyed and played equally well by men and women of all age groups and is an ideal game for those in the senior age group as it provides moderate physical exercise with a fair amount of mental stimulation.
Port Bouvard Croquet Club has chosen to play Riccochet Croquet, a game that involves skill in hitting a ball and tactics to outwit the opposition as each team attempts to outscore their opponents.
Croquet is an inexpensive sport to play and apart from suitable clothing, the only equipment to be purchased is a mallet. For new players, the Club has mallets available for loan.
