Family-Friendly Sailing
At PBYC, we pride ourselves on being a family-friendly club. Our diverse range of yacht classes caters to all ages and abilities. From our Junior programs in Topaz & Taz boats, to our Youth sailing in 125s & Catamarans, and our Adult classes featuring Flying Fifteens and various sizes of Catamarans, we ensure that everyone can find their sea legs with us.
Inclusive Sailing Opportunities
One of our proudest achievements is our “Sailability” program. Designed to empower people with disabilities, including their carers, Sailability offers the chance to experience sailing in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. No matter your level of skill or ability, at PBYC, sailing is accessible to all.
Racing and Events Calendar
The PBYC sailing season runs from October through April, with activities every Saturday. Our race days occur fortnightly and provide an exhilarating experience for both participants and spectators alike. The friendly yet competitive spirit of our races fosters a strong sense of community amongst our members.
Location and Facilities
Nestled in the southeast corner of the Dawesville Cut, the Club boasts stunning panoramic views over the Harvey Estuary. Our location not only provides a picturesque setting for our activities but also offers ideal conditions for sailing in relatively sheltered inland waters. With excellent facilities for both sailing and social activities, the Club is a vibrant hub for our members and guests.
