Port Bouvard Yacht Club is a welcoming and family-oriented yacht club situated adjacent to the southeast corner of the Dawesville Cut on the serene Peel/Harvey Estuary, also publicly known as the Mandurah Estuary. Whether you’re new to sailing or an experienced sailor, we provide an environment that fosters community, learning, and fun for everyone.
Classes of Yachts
At Port Bouvard Yacht Club, we sail a variety of yacht classes tailored for various age groups and skill levels. The relatively sheltered inland estuary waters provide ideal conditions for a safe and enjoyable sailing experience. The classes we cater to include:
- Juniors – Topaz & Taz
- Youth – 125 & Catamarans
- Adults – Flying Fifteens & Catamarans (different classes and sizes)

Sailability Program
As part of our commitment to inclusivity, we are proud to offer a “Sailability” program for people with disabilities, including their carers. This program provides an opportunity for individuals to experience the joy of sailing regardless of their level of ability, skill, or personal circumstances. Our focus is on creating a supportive and accessible environment where everyone can enjoy the water and feel empowered.
Sailing Season
The club’s sailing season runs from October to May, capitalizing on the region’s pleasant weather and excellent wind conditions. Regular sailing activities take place every Saturday, with race days organized fortnightly. Whether you’re looking to casually sail or compete, there are opportunities for all levels of engagement.
